Tips To Shake A Blog - Focus On Empathy

This will be a series on best practices for those willing to shake a blog.

Remember when you shake ur blog, you have to shake other's blog as well, and, you agree with the other blog owner that for every action, there will be an equal and opposite reaction. Here, the principle of "what you sow, that you shall reap" still applies, which is all within the boundaries of the golden rule, that you do to others what you want others to do to you.

So let me start the ball rolling, so to speak.

FOCUS ON EMPATHY

My first tip is that you should focus on empathy.

Empathy as used in this context is that of
putting yourself in someone else’s place and imagining how that person must feel.

Although the internet is a virtual world, most rules and principles in the real world still applies to this virtual world. When you empathize with the blog owner you're shaking with, there is a greater chance of you creating a long and fruitful relationship with that blog owner. It will make you feel better, knowing that you are doing good, based on what the other blog owner feels.

If applied consistently, focus on empathy will bring forth a better world wide web, where people are always trying to feel what other people are feeling. Everyone being more considerate of other's feelings.

So, let us take for example, a blogger who joins a networking community. Basic to this example is the fact that you are there to gain something from the community, regardless of what it may be. You join, interact with other people, and expect something in return. But what really should you expect from others....

To be continued...

Note: If you have thought on this subject you would like to share, questions or suggestion, I would really like to hear about it, so please leave a comment below. Thanks for dropping by and please come back for the continuation of this series.

The SHAKE That Can Make You Money.

Welcome to SHAKE UR BLOG, GET UR MONEY!

I'm Mark! This is the best opportunity for you to get the most out of your blog.

I've seen how hard it is for beginners to really make it big in the blogging world.

Then this idea came to me. Since all new bloggers need some sort of "support group" to somehow gain legitimate visitors and subscribers, why not create one that will do exactly that.

The common practice in the blogosphere is to create links with other blogs in order to increase the page rank. It works most of the time, but there is that risk of eventually getting banned by Google for such practice. So, I thought to myself, what is missing here? There must be some other way to somehow increase a blogs visibility without going through that process. Of course, there are online blogger communities you can join, but, how much benefit can you really derive from such communities. There's also similar services like entrecard, but, it's application, by virtue of its methodology, somehow limits its usefulness. Now, I kept thinking to myself, there must be some other way. After a lot of thinking... it hit me. Just agree with somebody to apply the golden rule, that is, "to do to others what you want others to do to you". And what do people usually do when they agree on something? They SHAKE!

"After a lot of thinking... it hit me. Just agree with somebody to apply the golden rule, that is, "to do to others what you want others to do to you"."

The SHAKE is an informal agreement... that someone agrees with another to do something in exchange for that other person to do the same. It's simply an exchange of blog reactions. The idea is to make it free and decentralized.

WARNING: ONLY SHAKE WITH THOSE BLOGS YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN !!!
"It's simply an exchange of blog reactions.."

Several intuitive SHAKE for bloggers:

A. Shake for Comments and Subscription = Here, a visitor is required to comment and subscribe to the blog and in exchange the blog owner agrees to comment and subscribe to the visitors blog.

B. Shake for Del.icio.us Bookmark = Here, a visitor is required to add you to his Del.icio.us bookmark and in exchange the blog owner agrees to also add you to his Del.icio.us bookmark the visitor's blog.

C. Shake for Digg Votes = A visitor Diggs a post, the blog owner also Diggs that visitor's post.

D. Shake for StumbleUpon Faves = A visitor Stumble's the post and the blog owner also Stumble's the visitor's post. Note: Only stumble those you are really interested in.

E. Shake for Technorati Faves = A visitor faves the post and the blog owner faves the visitor's post.

F. Shake for Keyword Search = A visitor uses a search engine to search for the post of the blog owner using the post keyword provided and the blog owner also agrees to do the same.
